Maintenance for Your Boiler
Our boiler maintenance checklist includes:
- check operation of safety limit controls
- check operation of pressure relief valve
- check water and pressure set-points
- check operation of boiler feed regulator
- check operation and setting of expansion tank
- check operation of operator control
- check operation and lubrication of circulation pumps
- check pressure switches and vent blower
- check amp draw of blower motor (if applicable)
- inspect burners (clean if required)
- inspect venting system
- measure stack (flue) temperature
- check gas piping to boiler
- check for gas leaks
- check and adjust manifold gas pressure
- check incoming gas pressure (standing gas pressure)
- check for elevated carbon monoxide levels
- check for water leaks
- inspection of heat exchanger (clean if necessary)
