Ogden Point Sundial

The Ogden Point Sundial is located at 211 Dallas Rd, Victoria, BC V8V 1A1, on the Ogden Point Breakwater. The sundial is located at an elevation of 8 meters above sea level. You can see the Strait of Juan de Fuca from this location. Depending on the time of year, the sun may appear as a full moon or a half-moon in the image.

You can take a short walk down the breakwaters to the sundial. There are directional and informational signs along the way. The path is 800 meters long, and you’ll see a variety of wildlife. Parking is available at the side of the breakwaters. Taking a short walk to the sundial is an ideal way to spend some time in Victoria.

You can visit the Ogden Point waterfront walkway, which is conveniently located near the breakwall and cruise ship terminal. The sundial is a great educational tool for children. It’s also a good place to meet friends and family. The walkway is well maintained and is a great way to get to know the area.

The Ogden Point Breakwater is located near the downtown Victoria area. It’s located a short drive from downtown Victoria. You can get there easily by following Highway 1 west. There is also a mural at the Ogden Point Pier. The mural is the work of local South Salish artists. It represents the Songhees territory, the Douglas Treaties, and the changes brought by colonization. Those who are visiting the Ogden Point Pier are likely to find this mural to be an important part of the community.

Another great place to see in Victoria is the Ogden Point Breakwater. The 762-meter long walkway is located near Dallas Road and is an excellent place to take a tour bus. The breakwater also features a mural honoring Coast Salish people. The breakwater also ends in a small lighthouse that protects the harbor waters. There are benches along the breakwater where visitors can enjoy the magnificent ocean views.

If you want to take a walk along the Breakwater, you’ll find a great place to observe floatplanes and cruise ships departing from the Inner Harbour. You’ll also have the chance to see a variety of wildlife. There are harbour seals, river otters, and other sea creatures that are frequently spotted along the path. The breakwater also makes for an excellent storm-watching spot. During storms, you can even get splashed by the crashing waves.
